Ride The Rapids (4 hours)

This is a ‘must do’ for those wanting to get that adrenal dose while at Rishikesh ! Around Noon, we drive you three kilometers from the Lodge to the Himalayan River Runners Ganga Base Camp – the white, pristine beach and the River Ganga will certainly take your breath away. Our Team Leader meets you and helps you settle in. Spend some time soaking in all that nature has to offer and enjoy a ‘camp lunch’. Following this, a briefing by your guide and strapping up, you then start navigating the rapids in your raft under close supervision of your guide. Enjoy the thrills, as you tackle the Ganga and move towards Rishikesh. You raft for about 60 minutes and dis-embark, excited and drenched after an amazing experience. We then drive you back to your Lodge, where hot beverages await you.

Yoga & Meditation (75 minutes)

The word Yoga is derived from the Sanskrti word ‘Yuj’ which means ‘to unite’ or ‘to join’. It is about connecting the body and the mind physically, mentally and spiritually. While the best time to practice Yoga is early in the morning or in the evening, you can practice it any time, any where. It is as much a work out of the mind, as of the body. After a personalized consultation, your teacher will take you through a series of body and mind postures.

Meal By The Rapids (2.30 hours)

This is available for breakfast or lunch. A short down-hill walk (12 minutes) brings you to the banks of the River Ganga. This breathe-taking setting with white sand, the mountains looming over you and the clear water of the river is a setting you will remember for a life-time. Your table is set for an enjoyable meal, as you wave to the occasional raft which zips across the river. Spend time being one with nature. And after your meal, walk up to your Lodge (20 minutes) for a short snooze! Note: The walk down and back up to the Lodge, though not dangerous, is on a steep hill-side on a natural jungle path. Breakfast / Lunch Options.

Evening With The Gods (4 hours)

A visit to Rishikesh would be incomplete without your taking the time to experience the soul-lifting ‘aarti’ ceremony at the Triveni Ghats on the Ganga in Rishikesh at sun-set. The drive from your Lodge to Rishikesh will take about 30 minutes (19 kms). We recommend you come in a bit early and explore the quaint life which unravels itself along the Ghats. Towards sun-set, make your way to Triveni Ghat where the ‘aarti’ takes place - an awe-inspiring sight, when flame of belief illuminates the entire environment and the mind and body are rejuvenated by the hymns recited in praise of the Ganges. Devotees release flower-filled leaf boats carrying tiny camphor lamps and let them float out on the river, which is the ceremony of worship, hope and remembrance. Drive back to your Lodge in time for dinner.

Fun On The River Beach (5 hours)

A beach in Rishikesh !? Yes, unbelievable as it may sound. Just 2 kms away from your Lodge is the Base Camp, which has the largest spread of pristine white sand beach on the banks of the river. Spend time swimming in the river; building castles in the sand; playing a game of football or then just relaxing. A Camp Lunch or Dinner (depending on your schedule) is included in the package. Drive back to the Lodge after spending some fun hours at the beach.

Call Of The Mountains (3 hours)

The Lodge is at the foot of the Himalayan Range and makes an ideal base for a soft trek into the mountains. Accompanied by one of our villagers and your picnic hamper, you trek through the forest area, loosing yourself to the quiet which surrounds you. Enjoy your snacks and coffee on the way back.
