Tree of Life- Eila Art, Resort in Manali
‘Eila’ is of Sanskrit origin, meaning Earth. And true to its name, the Tree of Life Eila Art Hotel, set amongst the Deodhar forests; with the meandering Beas River in the valley below ; the imposing Dhauladhar range across; artistic touches which permeate every corner of Eila – is a combination which is bound to take your breath away ! And your journey to this world begins as you enter through the Gate of Confluence, inspired from the great inscriptions of Mauryan period with Gold foils and a palette of bright colours inspired from Buddhist monasteries located in different areas of Himachal Pradesh. And this is only just the beginning of your boutique experience with art, literature, cuisine and wellness.
Beauty flows through The Tree of Life Eila Art Hotel as naturally as the Beas through the hills surrounding it. Instead of lying in wait for inspiration to come, perhaps you should consider coming to it. We are conveniently located between Kullu and Manali, with Bhuntar Airport a scenic 19 km away.
The Rooms
The resort was conceived as a cocoon growing out of the land – just like an anthill – with rooms appearing to be emerging from the hill. Positioned over three levels, most rooms have an amazing mountain views, covered with snow during winters. All our rooms are named after places in Himachal Pradesh which are synonymous with art and culture of the State. They come with cozy boutique interiors, minimal elegant contemporary furniture with enough storage and an emphasis on maximum views of the surrounds. Nearly all of them are accessible by an elevator. All non-smoking rooms have a large flat screen television, tea/coffee maker and adequate heating during winters

Guest Appreciation
Eila is neither a 5-star hotel nor a resort, it's purely an out-of-the-box experience. We stayed in Eila for 2 days and can't believe that someone has created something like this in the mountains. The rooms have almost no 90° angles which can't be imagined. The whole property looks like some sculpted art museum. Every single corner is tailor-made. The journey of building this space started 10 years back as the owner said. Many artists stayed at the place for months to create beautiful sculptures and monuments. At night when you switch off the lights and lie on the bed, you see the stars through your roof. The room service and staff make you feel like a king. The place has an art gallery, a bar, a restaurant, a spa, a heated pool, a library, an outdoor bonfire & barbecue, and one of the best views of the mountains. The Naggar palace is within walking distance where you can spend your evenings with a beautiful sunset. They also took us to a village called soyal to experience the Himachali food and culture guided by a beautiful lady from the same village. The whole experience was amazing and overwhelming and can't be expressed in words. I believe it will be a great item on your bucket list. e3
It was a great experience and best decision to visit this extremely beautiful place on our anniversary. The resort is situated in a remote village of himachal named Naggar, with Naggar palace and a beautiful dense forest to explore in 5min walk proximity. About hotel it is an art piece in itself, every floor and corner has perfect view to look and click at. The rooms with sky domes in which we stayed are as beautiful as one can ever imagine. You can see stars from sky window at night and as you wakeup you see the clouds moving above and the sunlight traveling on mountains from another window infront of you… all this look like an ever changing painting. Everything is perfect. Including the staff which is so sweet and will take care of your each and every thing from time to time. For us they made our day so special by surprising us with cake, decorating our room and also the delicious recipes the chef made specially for us. They made our day so special. Thankyou so much Eila. ❤
Amazing property . I was amused to see the property . It’s crazy . Loved it . Finest boutique I have visited till date . Worth every rupee spent here . 100% recommended. Food recommendations- Balsamic confit chicken roast ( this dish has to be pre ordered 2 days prior ) , I tried 4 dishes and all of them were also promising. This property has a charm.
