Experiences In Junoon

For wild life and nature lovers, a visit to the Corbett National Park is a must. You also have the possibility of seeing herds of wild elephants; the five main types of deer; crocodiles; wild boars; sloth bears; and the elusive leopard and tiger. Established in 1936, it today spreads over 520 square kilometers. Forest covers almost 70% of the Park, with around 110 trees species, 50 species of mammals, 520 bird species and 25 reptile species. Spend time in the natural beauty of the National Park or then just relax and unwind in the natural surrounds and comfort of the Tree of Life VanVilas River Edge, Corbett National Park.

Just Unwind!

When visiting for a long weekend, most visitors prefer to just stay at home, relaxing and catching up with each other, getting pampered, playing pool, staying fit in the (small but adequate) gym, or catching some TV.

Take a stroll

Long walks along the country road are enjoyable, with some beautiful valley and snow-capped Himalayan views in the winter – you can spend hours just soaking the glorious views of the countryside!

An Adventure!

For the more adventurous, there are mountain trails winding through small villages all the way down to the stream at Garampani. Our staff can help you decide what you’d like to do, and arrange for local guides if needed.

Excursions

If staying longer, Darmani is well situated for trips to local destinations. Nainital is due south, a little over an hour away. Similarly, Ranikhet and Almora are about 40km away, further north.

Letterbox by the Tree

Stories and whispers from lands far away, hidden away, concealing tantalizing tales… Such are the citadels of serenity that Tree of Life has spread roots and canopies, bringing you all the wonders in a letterbox by the Tree.
