One of the most well-known tourist spots is Sahasradhara, which translates to “thousandfold spring” and is located in Dehradun in the Indian state of Uttrakhand. It is located at latitude 30.387231 and longitude 78.131606. This location is found along the banks of the Song River tributary Kali Gad, a tiny river. The area is recognised for its sulphur springs because of the spectacular natural beauty present there, where water drops from stalactites in limestone. It is a sulphur spring with water that is substantially cooler than the air around it. The area is a storehouse of superb natural beauty, including caverns, waterfalls, and terrace farming on steppe carried out by the locals. People travel here from far distances because of its spectacular natural beauty. This location is around 11 kilometres from Dehradun.

Ropeway
To go to the summit of the hill in Sahasradhara, where there is an artificial park and a Sai temple, a ropeway (aerial tramway) is available. Near Lord Shiva in Sahasradhara are the Sulphur Water Springs.

Temple of Tapkeshwar Mahadev
In this area, there is a very old Shiva temple called Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple as well as Drona Guha (Guru Dronacharya’s cave), giving the area a good mythological setting and a sense of historical significance. People come here to pray.

Joyland
A man-made water park is also located here in order to draw visitors from all over the world. The Joyland Water Park’s swings and water slides add to the fun, making this a particularly well-liked picnic location.
