Luxury Rooms
Set in 5 acres of serene land on a hill-side, our rooms are a mix of the modern and tradition. What is common to all are huge spaces with high ceilings, natural light, four poster carved beds, spacious bathrooms and all the comforts one could ask for – coupled with warm and caring service.
The Mittra Niwas is a set of eight spacious Hideaway Rooms, divided over two floors:
Standard Hideaway Rooms
4 Standard Hideaway Rooms – are on the Ground Floor. With 300 sq.ft of private space, these over look a large, well laid out garden for your sit-out.
Adjoining it is the Aryana Niwas with two Superior Hideaway Rooms, ideal for a large family of small group of friends travelling together. A spacious sit out gives you a lovely view of the green hills across. The very spacious rooms come with a ‘period’ feel – high ceilings, King size poster beds, carved furniture and a large bathroom.
Superior Hideaway Rooms
6 Superior Hideaway Rooms – on the first floor, around 350 sq.ft. with a carved, four poster Queen size bed, a study table, comfortable seating and a spacious and well equipped bathroom. Air conditioned for the summers, we provide heaters during winters. These rooms come with a private balcony with the lush green hills for company just across.
Located in the Laxmi Niwas which is the main building, these period rooms of around 700 sq.ft each take you back in time. High ceiling, artefacts, carved King size poster bed along with an ornate seating area – all of it comes together beautifully with the amenities of today – tea/coffee maker, air conditioning / heaters and a very large well equipped bathroom. Please note that there is no television in the two Junior Suites.
